Learners
were to complete a set of facilitator led introductory modules,
which was followed by a suite of online system simulations
that were specific to end users' job roles. The online system
simulations were completed by learners in a classroom supported
by skilled facilitators.
One of the key elements
was the integration of the Cards eGuide (a powerful online
VisionPLUS reference tool) within the learning programs. This
not only helped participants complete their learning, but
also meant they gained skills in the use of the tool, so that
they could effectively use this resource once they returned
to the workplace.
Learners were also given
significant opportunity to practice using and navigating VisionPLUS,
which built their confidence and efficiency in using the system,
while using the Cards eGuide to source procedural, screen
and field information.
