The
introduction of the Financial Services Reform Act (FSR) brought
about a series of changes that had training implications for
Members Equity (ME) staff. They wanted to know what training
each staff member needed to complete and the relevant costs
of delivering this training either face to face, online or
via self paced booklets.
Online Learning Australia
helped ME address their learning requirements through a two
stage process. The first stage involved the development of
a matrix of roles within ME and the mapping of those roles
to FSR compliant training outcomes. Media delivery options
were analysed and reported, including materials development
costs, delivery costs and costs associated with staff training
time.
The second stage
involved analysing Members Equity's requirements for a Learning
Management System (LMS) to support the online delivery of
their FSR training. This included a review of functionality
of existing LMS solutions, documenting of Members Equity’s
requirements and preparation of a Tender to be sent to a shortlist
of LMS providers.
